just wondering, do you plan to release your game on steam ? that would be exciting :)

Unfortunately you cant just "plan" to release your game on steam. You have to go through a review process.

I would LOVE to get the game up on steam. I have contacted them and I'm currently waiting for a reply.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

allright ! :) i know it was not that simple for release the game at steam ^^;

and by the way, i'm going to buy it once it got released onn steam :)

also, i'm working on my own project game, i'm still writting the storyline.

Hmm... IDK if these are intentional parts of the game or not, but here are some recommendations for more big fixes :)

- Spikes are too sensitive, Just getting near them seems to kill you.
-The recharge rate between catches and throws is too long, it makes the boss fight completely impossible towards the end.
-Shield recharge ate is just a tad to long.

Great game tho! Good work!

Thanks for your suggestions! I'm in the process of working on a few things but I have some huge updates planned for this game so stay tuned!

I'm glad you like it!

Hey. Game looks great.

What Windows libs does it depend on to run? I'm hoping to run it in WINE but if it runs on .NET 3.5 or 4 or something then I'll save my money.

Has anyone tried it in WINE?

Still don't have any news for the Steam release ? If we can get an updated version, I'd certainly buy it again.

It's half-price on Gamersgate.com ($2.50) this week. Will the patch fix and extend this version?

RekcahDam said...

@RU14ME2C:

Yes the patch does fix and extend the version that is on gamersgate! Go get it :D!

Chrome flags the Windows download at http://www.celestialmechanica.com/ as "malicious." Might want to find out why and fix that!

Do you think there's some way to decrease the repeat rate or increase the "dead time" between a key press?

For me, double jump activates almost immediately, making some of the sections that require timing impossible because I can't use my full jump height, if that makes sense.

Hi: I just downloaded your game from the free bundle, but I cound not install it in my mac. Checking your website, I saw how to fix it but I do not have any password to use the updater: how should I proceed to get one? Thanks.

@abonatto

If you've recently downloaded it then you dont need the patch. You already have the latest version

I'm having an issue with the game and I was wondering if anyone could help me. I want to use the Xbox 360 controller, but the instructions are not that clear to me on how to make this work (sorry, I'm new to using a controller on my PC). If someone could please give me a hand, I would appreciate it!

Hi:

I have the following message when I try to launch it:

“Celestial Mechanica” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

RekcahDam said...

@abonatto what operating system are you running on? Mac or Windows?

Chico119 said...

@RekcahDam

Thank you! It worked! :D

So I'm guessing you're done with the game?

Anyway, I'm currently the world record holder for speed running the game. (By only 2 seconds mind you.)

I really would like to see you get rid of the death abuse skips though. :) Would make for a more challenging and longer speed run.

*spoilers - not really but still* Towards the end of the game, when I've just gotten to Mechanica, I managed to get past the line of turrets and into the next room by continually pressing 'Z' as I ran through. This let me return without the power-up and I continued on to the next part of the game without it. As far as I can tell, my save is broken unless I can do the same exploit to get through the rest of the game. If I can, it'll make for an interesting first run.
